# Nerova Developer Platform

Headless receptionist infrastructure. Nerova answers, books, and follows up behind your platform, while you keep the interface and the customer.

Nerova runs the receptionist workflows (conversations, bookings, follow-ups) while your platform stays the interface and the system of record. Integration is inbound: you implement one API contract, and Nerova does the rest.

### Building an integration?

Start with the [Quickstart](https://docs.nerovasystems.com/documentation/get-started/quickstart), then read [Authentication](https://docs.nerovasystems.com/documentation/get-started/authentication) and work through the [partner playbook](https://docs.nerovasystems.com/documentation/guides/partner-playbook). The [Test environment](https://docs.nerovasystems.com/documentation/get-started/sandbox) is deterministic and free to explore.

### Running a business on Nerova?

The [Help Center](https://docs.nerovasystems.com/help-center) covers how the AI receptionist works, bookings, and account basics. No code required. Manage everything from the [Nerova app](https://app.nerovasystems.com).

{% hint style="info" %}
**Availability:** the `/api/v1` surface is operational end to end in both environments. Production access is granted per organization through an explicit entitlement: the Test environment comes first, and billing is required only when applying for Production access. The API is documented as **Experimental** while breaking changes remain possible with a changelog entry. See [Lifecycle and availability](https://docs.nerovasystems.com/documentation/api/lifecycle).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.nerovasystems.com/readme.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
