# SDK roadmap

Java, Ruby, and Dart SDKs are coming, built from the same tenant-v1 OpenAPI contract as the published SDKs. The Python, PHP, and Go SDKs are already published.

**Coming soon.** Clients for three more languages (Java, Ruby, and Dart) are coming. Every one is built from the same `tenant-v1` OpenAPI contract that the server publishes and the .NET, TypeScript, [Python](/sdks/available-sdks/python.md), [PHP](/sdks/available-sdks/php.md), and [Go](/sdks/available-sdks/go.md) SDKs are built from.

## What ships

Every client is machine-built from the published `tenant-v1` OpenAPI contract and never hand-edited, so every language exposes the identical operation surface, and a contract change ships as a new package version rather than a manual patch.

| Language | Client namespace                                         | Status        |
| -------- | -------------------------------------------------------- | ------------- |
| Python   | `nerova_sdk` on PyPI as `nerova-sdk`                     | Published     |
| Go       | `github.com/nerova-systems/nerova-sdk-go` as a Go module | Published     |
| Java     | `com.nerovasystems.sdk`                                  | Coming soon   |
| PHP      | `Nerova\Sdk` on Packagist as `nerova/sdk`                | Published     |
| Ruby     | `NerovaSdk`                                              | Early preview |
| Dart | Not yet published | Early preview |

> The Ruby and Dart clients are an early preview. They cover the same operations, but their serialization support is less mature than the other languages, so treat them as evaluation-only until they are announced as stable.

## Conventions

The same SDK conventions apply in every language:

* Idempotency: send a caller-owned `Idempotency-Key` header on every mutation via the request configuration; the clients perform no automatic retries.
* Environments: Platform keys are Live keys (`nrv_live_`) on the single public host `https://api.nerovasystems.com`. Only Live keys exist: any attempt to create a non-Live key returns `403 api_key.sandbox_disabled`.
* Errors follow RFC 9457 problem details, enums are open string sets, and list endpoints paginate with `unixms|id` cursors.

## Availability

Not yet published: no package for Java, Ruby, or Dart is available from a public registry yet. Only the [.NET SDK](/sdks/available-sdks/dotnet.md), the [TypeScript SDK](/sdks/available-sdks/typescript.md), the [Python SDK](/sdks/available-sdks/python.md), the [PHP SDK](/sdks/available-sdks/php.md), and the [Go SDK](/sdks/available-sdks/go.md) are published, as previews on the `0.3.0-preview.2` version line (`0.3.0b2` on PyPI, `0.3.0-beta.2` on Packagist, and the tag `v0.3.0-preview.2` for Go). When a package for another language is published, this page announces it with install instructions and a pinned version. Until then, use one of those five SDKs or call the REST API directly with the [cURL quickstart](https://docs.nerovasystems.com/documentation/getting-started/quickstart).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.nerovasystems.com/sdks/coming-soon/roadmap.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
